Production scanners are designed for environments with very large daily outputs. These environments require large quantities of daily scanning with paper sized up to A4 (11inches by 17 inches or double letter). With such high expected scan volumes, these scanners all have a Daily Duty Cycle of more than 8,000 pages. The scanners also need to scan through paper at incredibly high speeds.
